Orlando, FL – September 18, 2019 The Indian American Chamber of Commerce- Orlando (IACC) will recognize business and community leaders who are making positive impacts in Central Florida, during its upcoming 10th Annual Awards Gala.

The gala will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 6:30 PM at Fields Bentley, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, located at 2202 33rd Street, Orlando, FL 32839.  The 10th Annual Awards Gala is a “Must Attend” opportunity to connect with some of the most influential business leaders in Central Florida.

The IACC will show its support for two local charities.  Shepherd’s Hope- a medical social services organization, and Florida Abolitionist- working to end human trafficking.  Due to its continued financial strength, the IACC will donate Three Thousand dollars to both non-profit groups, at the gala.

“At this year’s 10th Annual Awards Gala, the IACC will take time to recognize the important work both of these charity groups are doing to alleviate suffering here in our community,” said Yog Melwani, IACC President.  “From the two featured charities to our award winners, we recognize that this year’s event is putting the spotlight on people making a major difference in Central Florida.”

The IACC will honor Central Florida award winners at this year's gala in the following categories: 

Gandhi Community Service Award

Male Business Professional of the Year

Female Business Professional of the Year

Entrepreneur of the Year 

The 10th Annual Awards Gala will offer attendees a “Red Carpet” experience, from complimentary Valet Parking, Cocktail Reception with Hors d'oeuvres, a Silent Auction, and Live Entertainment, followed by the Awards Presentations and Dinner.  Photo opportunities will be available throughout the evening.

BB&T is the Presenting Sponsor for this year's gala.  The Entertainment Sponsor is Marchena and Graham, P.A., and the Banquet Event Sponsor is Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport.

From the annual IACC India Day with the Orlando Magic, and innovative events like the Smart and Sustainable Cities Collaboratives, to informative BAH events hosted at various local businesses, the IACC is taking a leading role to connect people and foster business opportunities and community awareness in Central Florida.
